The 2022 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Royal Court Tryouts will resume for the 2022 Parade! While normally there would have been in-person presentations to the local schools, Covid protocols still in effect this past Spring as well as schools with varying models of either in-person, virtual or a hybrid learning prevented any school visits. So, in its place, the Royal Court Marketing Department developed a wonderful video. Eligible candidates for the Royal Court would be incoming Seniors and because of the lapse last year, they have extended eligibility to those students who have been vaccinated that would have been eligible for the 2021 Parade (Class of 2021). The application is published and posted in the website does require that all candidates be vaccinated as well as provides the ability to download/attach proof of vaccination. The deadline for participants to start the vaccination process in order to be eligible to participate in the Royal Court tryouts is August 7th.
