Science National Honor Society

Welcome to Science National Honor Society!

Science National Honors Society is a national organization dedicated to improving science education and STEM passion in the community. Our branch focuses on inspiring K-12 students in La Canada Flintridge to explore science and pursue stem careers.

SNHS has 4 primary objectives during each school year.
  • SNHS will plan and run science nights at the three LCUSD elementary schools. We will work hands-on with young students to introduce them to scientific concepts through fun activities and projects.
  • We will organize a science fair on campus at LCHS for which SNHS will create all infrastructure and hold the event. The LCHS science fair will serve as a qualifier for the LA County Science Fair.
  • We will also create science fairs at the three LCUSD elementary schools. These will be loose and fun events for young students to showcase their passion for science and will be run entirely by SNHS.
